This state-of-the-art cultural, visual and performing arts center in Montgomery County, Maryland presents a full season of music, dance and family oriented performances along with a wide range of music, dance and arts classes and camps. The 33,000 square foot facility includes a 210 seat proscenium Main Stage theatre, a ‘black box’ Studio Theatre, a 1,500 square foot art gallery, music practice rooms and visual art classrooms. There is also an outdoor stage for summer performances.

The Studio Theatre is a multipurpose space. Equipped with a sprung floor specifically designed for ballet, modern and jazz dance, there are ballet barres and mirrors on the walls that facilitate its use as a dance class, rehearsal and performance space. Other uses include banquets and meetings. Sunday classical concerts are held in the art gallery. Symbols of the agricultural history of the Germantown community are reflected in the design of the terrazzo tile floor in the lobby.

“Quite simply, we could not have done this without Synthesis . . . . I would recommend them one hundred per cent with no qualms whatsoever. They were always there for us: it is quite amazing how much service we got. Hiring Synthesis was the most important money we spent.”
